US Mint $25 Palladium coin
This is the first year for the US Mint to issue a palladium coin, and the mintage is a tiny 15,000 coins. It is a high relief beautiful design. The obverse is from the Mercury dime and the reverse is a St. Gaudins design that had never been used on legal tender coins. Only the future will tell, but these coins could be in very high demand with such a low mintage and many firsts, 1st palladium coin, 1st $25 one ounce coin, 1st high relief bullion coin, 1st use of St. Gaudins eagle on the reverse, and minted so precisely that many of the coins are grading a perfect MS70 by both NGC and PCGS. I think this is a good buy at current prices and could return a nice profit if held a few years.
