This is a top rate manga series that every manga fan should read and have in their library. It has horror, suspense, crime drama, and it is a very intelligent series with two genius level brains - Light and L competing on either side to outwit the other one. A high school senior finds a death god's notebook, ( an angel of death who spirits people to the otherworld ) and begins to write names in it. Those written in the book die. So he decides to rid the world of criminals. Will Light become a criminal in the process? A must read.
Death Note....to me is the BEST manga/anime EVER, and when I bought this, it was AWESOME. It comes with all 13. Which is the 1-12 plus the "How To Read" 13. Which includes the best thing ever in the 13th volume....THE L'S TRUE NAME CARD! and also a little book of EVERY rule. including some not included when you buy a Death Note replica. To all the Death Note fans, I Highly suggest you buy this. The bottom of box says $99.99 but I got it for $66 from good ol' ebay!
The bookset is an awesome gift for Death Note fans. It's a fun read and you'll definitely be hooked by the drama. I recommend watching the show before starting the books if you're a bit slow with starting the mangas.
