VINTAGE ANTIQUE GOLDMAN'S HANDHELD CAST IRON ATOMIZER AND SPRINKLER

This rare piece is in good vintage condition. I don't know if it was designed to come apart, but it does, similar to scissors that come apart for cleaning. There's no pean on the pin that holds the two halves in place, so I think it probably was designed to come apart. Apparently there were liquid filled balls that could be purchased to use with it. This was in the days before aerosol cans, which were patented much later. I found the newspaper ad image by googling "GOLDMAN'S ATOMIZER AND SPRINKLER ". It's from an 1886 newspaper, if I remember correctly. !
